I hope everyone had a great long weekend!  I personally went to the beach Monday for some BBQ and surf.  Much needed, but now its back to work for everyone.

Thursday night a few SocialVibe employees were invited to the Declare Yourself and American Eagle event at The Palihouse in West Hollywood.

AE designed a limited edition graphic T available Fall 2008 for young adults looking to make a nonpartisan fashion statement and "Declare" themselves in 2008.  The goal being to encourage all 18-year olds to register to vote in the 2008 election.

The event drew some big celebs like Gabrielle Union, Stephen Colletti, and Project Runway winner Christian Soriano.

Some of Hollywoods biggest names designed their own version of the VOTE shirt for people to see.  We tried to get more pictures but our little camera died on us :(

If you want to watch some coverage from the event check out the link below.  The video is in the 4th row under "Big Celebs, Big Issue".

http://www.cnn.com/video/#/showbiz

So we have to ask...who will you be voting for?  Remember, you can't vote unless you register!

If Ron Paul is still on the ballot, I will vote for him even though I am a democrat and he is a republican. He gets my vote over McCain even on McCains best day! I would vote for Hillary Clinton before Ron Paul, & Absolutely her before Obama. Obama & McCain are way out of the question in my book, so either Ron Paul or Hillary Clinton. If Hillary chooses Obama as a running mate or vice/versa, I will not vote for either. If neither Hillary Clinton or Ron Paul with respectable running mates, is on the ballot, I'll vote for Mike Gravel or Ralph Nader both of which are Thirdy Party Candidates. "voted Kerry in last election"

im in australia and im actually shcoked by the amount of people that want republicans to win this election its almost sickening really.

mcain to me seems like easy street, we dont really make many changes so we all live happily ever after BUT nothing changes.

obama and hillary to me seem like yeah it will be hard in the beggining but in the end we will have a new country most likely better.

remember the republicans are in right now and america and the world are in total shambles..

democrats all the way show me:

This last government did screw up but so many have given up their lives defending what we all believe and if Democrats come into office they will get out of Iraq as soon as possible and the progress that has been made so far will be lost. I think it should be seen thru till the end.

If Obama the political idiot is elected I'm moving out of the country. If Clinton the woman that wanted to sensor what books are allowed in our schools gets elected I'm moving out of the country. I'm a Democrat all the way and I have to vote on the Republican ticket this sucks! Now Obama is talking about making Clinton his Vice President which means more than likely they will win. You can't just decide to become president as your stepping stone which is what Obama is doing he has zero poilitical experience. I am all for a woman or colored man or woman being in office just not either one of the candidates that we have to choose from.

having McCain would be like having another Bush plus he's too old. I personally would rather have had Huckabee 4 the republicans going against Hillary and Obama. But I love Obama so Obama's got my vote b/c he is going to "Change" this country 4 the better lol =)

scubagirl89

POSTED 3 YEARS AGO

It may suck to have another Republican in office, but Obama knows shit about poilitics. He wont change this country for the better at all. He has no real political experience and he is using becoming the President as a stepping stone and that's not how this works. Ron Paul would have been the best option and I hear he is still running so if that's the truth then that's who everyone should vote for. McCain is just the lesser of the three evils.
