Invisible Children sent SocialVibe some of their braclets.  It's truly a worthwhile project that they have going on.

For those of you who don't know what it is, check out their website at www.InvisibleChildren.com.  Words cannot describe what they're doing for so many people!  Invisible Children is known for its amazing movies, if you don't believe me check out the trailer below.

For all the people emailing in, we listen, and SocialVibe is putting together some stuff to hopefully work with Invisible Children more .

Make sure to stop by their MySpace to show them some love, and let them know you support them on SocialVibe.

While raising funds and awareness for causes is a fun and big part of SocialVibe, we can't forget that doing so is only possible with the support from the brands.

PowerBar has given the SocialVibe members some great new artwork.

If you want to personally thank PowerBar for being in SocialVibe, click here and let them know.  It's important that the brands hear from our members.  The more brands on our site the more we can do for our favorite causes.  We know a lot of you have always loved PowerBar, SocialVibe just gives you a reason to put it on your social network page.

Kudos PowerBar.

Let's keep those brands coming.  Any ideas on how to reach out to some brands you would like to see on SocialVibe?

SocialVibe is convinced we have the most active, passionate, and amazing members on the web!

To prove this, we are launching a Member of the Month Contest!

This month's contest is called "HollyRod in Hollywood".

SocialVibe charity The HollyRod Foundation strives to offer help and hope to patients suffering with debilitating life circumstances.

We want to know how you use your influence for Help and Hope for others?

Submit your story via VIDEO to helpandhope@socialvibe.com.  This can be done by simply including the YouTube link to the video you have created.  The video can be as long or short as you like, but get creative, have fun, and make your influence known.  ALL true submissions will receive 300 points on SocialVibe, so please include your SocialVibe email in the submission email so you can be rewarded your points.

One winner will be flown to Los Angeles and be a special guest of Rodney and Holly Robinson Peete at their star-studded DesignCare event benefitting The HollyRod Foundaiton in Malibu, CA on July 19th.  Prize includes hotel and spending money while in LA.  Plus 10,000 SocialVibe points!

Winners will be judged on originality, and fit within the SocialVibe style.

Submission deadline is JUNE 27th.

Winner will be announced and showcased JULY 6th.

LET'S SEE THOSE VIDEOS AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL PARTICIPANTS!

Here is a link to a video from last years DesignCare event...

It's Saturday and I'm sitting at the Coffee Bean (a brand that SHOULD be in SocialVibe) wondering what the heck I'm going to write about for today's post.  Tons of new charities, brands, news, etc.  But with my earphones plugged in and blaring it occurred to me, music serves as a major inspiration to a lot of people, so I'm going to share some of my favorite songs out there with you :)  Of course, if you truly love music feel free to check out the The Art of Elysium cause within SocialVibe.  A great cause for any music lover.

Enjoy your weekend everyone. This coming up week is a big one for SocialVibe, can't wait to share some big news with everyone :)
