With school back in full swing and those first week jitters out of the way, it’s time to take a look at SocialVibe’s newest contest: High Schoolers Gone Good! (HSGG for all you savy Vibers!)
Here’s the deal for those who might be unfamiliar - The High School that recruits the most new members to SocialVibe by Nov. 15th will receive the biggest prize SocialVibe has ever awarded. President Joe Marchase will travel to the winning High School and present their student council with a check for $10,000! (He may even bring a surprise or two for the school!)
All students need to do is sign up at SocialVibe.com, add their High School, and keep an eye on www.SocialVibe.com/HighSchool to track your schools progress and ranking on our Official Scoreboard. Is your school listed? Is your rival school listed?? Better get started quick!
We want to give you guys every tool possible to help you get your fellow students signed up, so we created a media kit for you that has some downloadable materials that may help.
Get inventive! Hand out flyers, throw a rally, announce it on your morning announcements, put banners up, get teachers involved! Do what it takes to prove to the world that your High School is using their online influence on MySpace, Facebook, and blogs to change the world! Imagine the funds the winning school ALONE will create for all the different causes. Trust me, when the winning school is announced, press will be biting at the chomps to showcase YOUR school.
We will be giving out more stuff for HSGG in the weeks to come, including a banner for your MySpace or Facebook profiles to show your participation in the contest. We'll even put out a YouTube video answering some of your questions!
Lastly, if you submit a video (YouTube) or pictures to highschool@socialvibe.com of you and your friends getting your High School involved with HSGG (whether it is talking about it at a club meeting, handing out flyers, etc. etc.) we will reward you with 150 SocialVibe points, and showcase it on The Vibe!

2. Check out www.SocialVibe.com/HighSchool daily to see your schools progress and ranking.
3. Spread the word!
