World AIDS Day is December 1, and Direct Relief International is hoping to raise $30,000 by that date through the support of SocialVibe members like you. This money will support an AIDS/HIV program in Kenya, which includes distribution of life-prolonging drugs to 1,500 patients a year through antiretroviral therapy (ART). ART not only prolongs the lives of patients with AIDS, but also improves the quality of their lives and their families’, including potentially orphaned children.
Meet Kristi. Kristi will be making several trips to Kenya to oversee Direct Relief's progress in supporting the ART program in Kenya, and the best part is.. she'll be providing SocialVibe members with periodical videos updating on the status! This means we will actually be able to SEE the difference our efforts are making.

I agree with the first comment. i keep trying to force my friends to sign up and they're like it sounds complicated and im like it's not. you just sign up, pick a cause, pick a sponsor, and then log in every day, visit the forums, update your status, and answer the daily question. it takes like 1 minute. I've only convinced 1 to actually sign up and it really annoys me because everyone on earth should. you help others with little to no actual work. it's the easiest thing ever. if you're too lazy to do this you dont deserve to be taking food, water and air from people who really deserve it.

I am also going to keep with Keep A Breast for October, but I now will be looking forward to November 1st as well to raise money for DRI.

To that guy Jony..Aids and Hiv started because of gay people. It spread because some of those gays went bi, or didnt tell there partner. I dont hate gays and I dont blame them. But dont be a self centered asshole and not care. One day you just might catch the disease if your not carefull.
I think this is an amazing effort. My goal in life is to become a doctor and my main goal is to come up with an actual cure for hiv and aids.
