It's the banks faults for charging people what the do for their homes and credit cards.
Companies that ruin people’s credit over cell phones and other contract deals are to blame.
There's no reason for a person to pay $400,000.00 on a $100,000.00 house and then have it taken away after they have paid $250,000.00 or,,,$1,000.00 for ending a cell phone contract early and having your credit skunked if you don't pay that amount. Like I said, it's the banks fault for being greedy.

i gather that this is supposed to be a joke, and i absolutely adore natalie portman, but this wasn't funny... it's hard to say whether it was a commentary on living in the moment and enjoying life, or the fact that our problems can't be solved with simple solutions... but btw owning a dog increases your renter's or home owner's insurance rates and depreciates your property value. a lot of dumb people end up throwing their dogs in the pound because they didn't realize things like that.
