The Evil Dead is a classic to me. I absolutely lovee it. It makes me laugh because the graphics are horrible haha. They deff. need to remake it.

The Evil Dead would be a great choice for a remake (it's being considered). However, a new cast (not Bruce Campbell) would fill the roles. I just hope that the movie sticks to its roots and doesn't bring in young, hip television stars.

I think Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm street are very very awesome the way they are. A remake isn't needed, but I would totally go see the remake anyways. Just cause i'm a huge fan of both jason and Freddy. =^_^=

One reason and one reason only why Nightmare on Elm Street movies should never be remade: They wouldn't have Robert Englund as Krueger. And there is no one else who could ever be him.

I'd like to see a new Gremlins movie! I remember when I was little I used to want a Mogwaii.
I don't want them to remake Nightmare on Elm Street, though. I know they could do a lot better with special effects and all, but the original is just too good to change, I grew up watching that movie a million times. They should just make another sequel or another "versus" movie.
And I don't even consider Jaws to be a horror movie...

The Friday the 13th remake actually looks pretty wicked. I'd love to see it! I just hope it won't be a disappointment. I was shocked at Rob Zombie's remake of Halloween. It was so awesome, it blew me away.

I'd voted for Children of the Corn cause I thought the movies seemed neat, but like many other old horrors I've seen, the effects were rather cheesy.

The thing about remakes; they are usually not as good as the originals!!! JMHO

i mean i'd love for it to be updated with new graphics and such but so many remakes are getting watered down and stupid.

I prefer the classics the way they are, but when it comes to Hellraiser, the book gives you so much more imagination than the movie. I think they could do wonders with our better CG now with Hellraiser. Heck, they could just take the original and digitize certain scenes the way the first three Star Wars were (Ep. 4-6).
