Remember Tom Green? How can you forget. The "shock comedian" who had his own show on MTV, was infamously married to Drew Barrymore, and had one of his testicles removed on television after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. If you have longed to see him on TV, you are in luck. He is bringing his frenetic energy and bizarre sense of humor to Planet Green for a new game show, "Go for the Green", which airs Saturdays at 8pm EST.
Planet Green says the new eco-quiz show is "a fun, high energy elimination game show where 50 members of our live audience compete to stay in the game and prove that, like our host Tom Green, they're GREEN too! It's survival of the fittest, and by the end of the show two finalists will face off in a tension filled game to win our grand prize — a fantastic green weekend getaway."
If you think you have the eco-smarts to participate, Planet Green recommends doing some cramming over at Treehugger and then practicing by playing the online quiz at the Planet Green website.
The word is still out on whether "Go for the Green" will involve the toilet-humor antics Tom engaged in back in the day, like humping a dead moose.
