I think it is a little of both. You work for your passion and one of his is art, but there is always time. Time discovers that something once cherished is now obsolete, so maybe he can sell his less favored pieces to benefit something else he is passionate about...just a thought!

He should donate it all - I don't care if he's a celebrity. There are people starving in Africa, the slave trade is still alive and well, people are dying out there... And all we care about is the arts? Seriously?

There is a point with supporting the arts, but I get a feeling that if he is spending millions that the art tends to be more of a status symbol. He should set an example, and make his status symbol the amount he has donated to the poor.

I like art. Brad does a lot. He shoul be able to keep it if he wants. All you people saying "it could be put to good use!," then why don't you sell your computer that you are typingon and donate it to charity? Alls fair.

Maybe with all of their millions they could probably give much more than just their art collection... if they even just gave a percentage of the money they get for a movie, a show, a promotion and all of the other money they get they could give that to charity.

If you really think about it its a crock that "she wants to scale back on their posesions and lead a simple life" well maybe if they didnt have like 2 houses and a palace in France, I mean really is it too much to settle for a reasonable sized house. Maybe if their wardrobe didnt come from all of the top designers they could give more to charity.

Its great what theyve done already but if you consider that people with FAR FAR less money have adopted children from arround the world and given their time to humanitarian causes much more than these people and have ACTUALLY put their lives in danger to help people not just pretend with a bunch of bodyguards surrounding them, it seems almost pathetic what they could be doing and what they arent doing!

I think that its about time to stop idolizing these people because they have money, all they do is hoard it!
