Today might just go down in history as one of the most impactful World AIDS Days ever. So many people and organizations have come through to help the cause, making it even easier for you to join in.
By now, you're already aware of our efforts with Direct Relief (if not, see here) - but here are a few more things you can do TODAY to participate in the fight against AIDS.

- 1. Subscribe to the new digital magazine (RED)WIRE. (RED)WIRE is an offshoot of the activist organization RED, founded by U2 frontman Bono last year. Not only is the magazine digital (thus VERY green), but all proceeds will benefit HIV-infected people in Africa.
A subscription to (RED)WIRE costs only $5 a year. Subscribers receive a new issue every Wednesday, featuring an exclusive song from a major musician, a song from a new performer and a multimedia presentation about how the organization is helping Africans in need.
Some of the most popular musicians in the world are donating their names and talent to (RED)WIRE. We're talking about U2, Coldplay, the Dixie Chicks, John Legend, REM, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, the Police, Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Elton John and Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys.
I repeat, a subscription only costs FIVE DOLLARS. That's really reason enough to get it, right?
2. Go to Starbucks (even more often than usual). We told you about this a few weeks ago
3. Educate yourself! Learn what you can do personally to stop the spread of AIDS at these great websites: worldaidsday.org and banyantreeproject.org. Or just watch this PSA.
These small efforts may seem insignificant to you or I, but in the big picture, every little bit helps.
