Stephen Colbert's Christmas Special is the gift that keeps on giving this season. The special aired on November 23 and featured Colbert singing, dancing and being generally merry with guest stars Toby Keith, Elvis Costello, John Legend, Feist, Willie Nelson and Jon Stewart. One may recall a certain pair of faux fur boots worn by Mr. Colbert on said Christmas special...

Colbert has generously offered up those boots as a part of eBay Giving Works auction to help support the cause. 100% of net proceeds from the boots will be donated to Feeding America. The auction site states, "Our mission is to feed America's hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger."
Bidding ends tonight, and although those boots are obviously sexy, at $1,350, they are a little out of my price range. At least the money is going to a GOOD cause!
We're already big fans of Colbert, but I think our love-o-meter has just spiked.
Can't afford the boots, no problem. Buy your own copy of A Colbert Christmas - The Greatest Gift of All on Comedy Central's website. Portions of DVD sales will also benefit Feeding America. (For true Colbert fanatics, they are also selling a Christmas ornament.)
