If you haven't already picked up your Christmas tree, make your holiday even greener by buying an organic tree! While many prefer to run out after Thanksgiving and pick up their tree, if you're still waiting for the adventure, I recommend keeping pesticides out of your house this holiday season.

By going organic, you'll spare yourself and your family a treeful of pesticides - so you can focus on the real decorations! Your family will breath easier and the forest and all it’s inhabitants will thank you for eliminating the risks of pesticide runoff.
While you aren’t likely to find organic trees at big box stores or massive lots, with a little investigating you can find independent sellers, who harvest trees locally and tell you exactly how their trees are grown. You could also decorate a living tree instead (preferably one on your property) or just offset the chopped tree by planting a new one with your family!

Did you already get your Christmas tree? I have to ask - colored or white lights?
