As incredible as it was to see Obama win the election, it was not as much of a surprise for me as Heath Ledger's death. I doubt anyone saw it coming. He was such a talented actor, and he didn't know the half of it. He is sorely missed by so many.

haha michael phelps, i love him, i was beside the tv the whole entire swimming part of the olympic season, it wasnt suprising i knew he would get it, but i just thought everyone should know that i love michael phelps lol(:

and btw, prop. 8 shouldnt have of passed atealst thats my opinion...sorry but i think people should have the right to marry the person they want to be with, oh well it wont stop them from being together or going to another state to be married ;]

Heath Ledger's death for sure. Sarah Palin being on the ticket was idiotic, not surprising. Obama was destined to win, so it's not a surprise. Phelps is an AMAZING athlete, I expected him the break the record. Didn't care about gas prices all that much; I live in NYC. LiLo becoming bisexual was like whoa, not WHOA! I wanted the Patriots to win, and the Giants winning was surprising, but Heath Ledger's death was far more surprising. Travis Barker's accident was saddening.

I was definitely not surprised by Obama's win. When the Republicans are more than aware that their candidate is gonna lose, it shouldn't surprise anyone else.
