Mickey Rourke is riding high after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor for his work in The Wrestler. The former boxer and Hollywood bad boy has teamed up with PETA to take advantage of his popularity in a new ad encouraging people to get their dogs spayed or neutered.
The ad features Rourke clutching his beloved chihuahua Jaws and reads "Have The Cojones To Fix Your Dog." Seems an appropriate message for a tough guy like Mickey.
The ad is a part of PETA'S ABC campaign, which is aimed at knocking out animal overpopulation. Get involved by supporting peta2 on SocialVibe, and don't forget to sign their petition to end animal homelessness.
Too bad Mickey is not as enthusiastic about the green gift of a water-powered clock as fellow Golden Globe nominees and winners Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. He actually chucked it back into the crowd! At least someone will be a little more eco-friendly.
