She's hot, she's talented, and she's ferocious. But who knew she was this philanthropic? Singer Pink recently forked over a $250,000 donation to the Australian Brushfire Appeal.
The 2009 Victorian Bushfire Fund was launched by the Premier John Brumby in partnership with Red Cross and the Federal Government. Funds raised will be used to provide assistance to individuals and communities in towns and suburbs affected by the 2009 Victorian brushfires.
Her generous donation brings the fundraising grand total to over $100 million now!
- Pink said on her site, ‘I’ve been really affected by the media images of the tragic bushfires in Victoria…My heart goes out to all those who have suffered so much in these circumstances.’
She must have seen the heartbreaking koala pic and video that have been making their way around the internet and television.
