I would get a kitten if I could but somebody in my house thinks their sneaky.

i have one kitten right now and in april im going down to the pound to get another:]] i hate seeing animals in there its soo sad:/ i wish i could take them all but my apartment is small, barely enough for me and my boyfriend and 2 kittens lol

omg ive worked at petsmart for almost 3 years and every year it gets worse and worse :[ last year we had a box full of kittens left at the back of our store!!! but we helped them get back to health and adopted all of them out to good homes!!! i hope this kitty season isnt as bad as last year!

We are actually feeding a pregnant cat now that has kind of adopted our porch as her diner. LOL> I'm not sure what exactly we will do if she has her kittens here, but I also hope she has them here, cause we would care for them instead of dumping them off.

I love kittens and cats! I have 3 but used to have 6:) I also volunteer at a no-kill cat shelter that has over 500 kittens&cats. This is so true! We are already starting to experience this now. We just got in 15 baby kittens under the age of 4 weeks last week and uspplies to get strained because we run and operate completely off ot donations. So please, if you can, give a kitten a loving home. They are great animals to have and I promise you won't regret it.

cats are the greatest.I have 3kittens(the gray sisters maya and pepper, and taz) and 2 cats that i found in the streets(tiger and max). well, i really found max trapped in my basement and no1 knows were he came from O.o.

Kittens are cute and they grow to be cats that is what people need to realize. The population of animals will be better if everyone please get your animal spayed and neutuered. If you have questions you can ask me i wrote an 8 page research paper on the importance of spaying and neuturing for my senior project.
I also have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and a fish they are so adorable. :]

if i'm gonna deal with an animal when it grows up, it's gonna be a dog.

For those who find cats please contact your animal shelter than can help the cat. Espcially if their pregnant. There are tons of cats out there to adopt so please dont let your animals breed crazy it is stressful on the pet to go though labor. I really dont like it when people breed for profit. That just adds more to the population problem.

aw we found my kitty in october.
starving, tiny, and cold.
she was about a month old.
not too sure how she even survived.
i wish more people would take care of their cats, or help out the shelters that benefit the cats.

i helped a 4 month old cat give birth to 4 kittens x.x;they were born in a harsh time of the year;only 1 made it.the mom got ran over :/ after that the last cat ran away...

I got my cats from a person who found them in a dumpster when they were Kitties. They couldnt keep them so i took them, I prefer dogs though, but i have 3. So yeahh i helped out!!

that's so terrible ! I'm not a cat person, but I think it's sad when any pet is destroyed because of a large amount of unwanted animals

We have three cats, two of which are spayed. The third we just got last november, picked him up at a rest stop where he was abandoned. He has yet to be neutered, but they're indoor cats so we're not TOO worried about it. We keep a good eye on them when we enter&leave the house as well, so yeah. Spay & Neuter!

Oh! Our first cat we got we adopted from the shelter =] The second cat was a "free kitten" sign down the road (I walked down and carried her back and she follows me everywhere now). Forgot about that haha

I just adopted a very, very loveable adult cat at my local shelter. So he is very lucky; he found a home before kitten season. And now, my first cat has a wonderful mate to play with! (yes, they are BOTH neutered)

both of my cats were abandoned as kittens. My mom is a dog groomer and many people also drop off litters of puppies and kittens to see if she can find good homes for them. Almost all of my pets have been from those litters.

Ive adopted several of those fuzzy cutie pies and given them good homes! Now I'm gonna be selfish and keep one for myself and adopt a big ol' puppy to keep it company!!! I wish I had enough room to adopt all the fuzzy critters... sad...

I hate cats! In my area, cats are being abused daily. Some mentally sick people stuff firecrackers and things into the cat's butt and it's very sick of them to do that because the crackers eventually will blow up and the cat died horribly. I've seen one and I hate cats ever since.
It's like I can do nothing to help and I feel disgusted when their body just blew up like that. I think cats should stop mating to prevent their future generations being abused D:

after my grandpa died, we had to take all of his cats, he never got any of them fixed, could you imagine? we probably got about 8 kittens, and at least 5 adults, plus the 4 or 5 cats we already had, it was crazy, but we found homes for most of them, and others just ran off down the street and found homes with some of our neighbors. all of our cats but one is fixed now, so no more kittens for us! lol, we have 12 cats in total now, only a few indoor, though. still trying to find homes for some of them, but no one wants adult cats, everyone wants cute little kittens

I didn't even bother to read this whole entire article because I know-I know first hand. Our backyard is flooded with pregnant cats, so that means we'll have kittens! We feed them because we don't want to see them go hungry, & we do not catch them because 1. they are wild & 2. our APL is flooded with cats because of their new "no kill" policy. I think, & this will sound harsh, that they should in fact put down the older cats for living in a cage is no life to be lived!

Me, my fiance, my roomate and her boyfriend are getting a big farm house and going to save any animal we can find. Keep them if we cant find homes and get them fixed if we need to. I cant wait to start doing this. Hopefully we arent the only ones trying to save them and our world can be better for the animals on the streets. So they dont have to be killed! Cuz its not those animals faults, they shouldnt have to die

I work at a humane society shelter and I really appreciate that this was put up. Right now we have about 20 cats, in a few weeks.. it will be 5 or more times that. It is really tragic.
