Most schools have rules - no cutting class, no revealing clothing, no fighting. Rules like that are just a part of being a student; but how about "no touching?" Students at East Shore Middle School in Connecticut are protesting a recent ban put on students putting their hands on one another... in any way!
- "Going down the halls it is so cramped that it is hard not to touch anyone," Amanda Bollano said. "But if it is accidental, they won’t do anything. If it is intentional, you might get detention."

Patrick Abbazia is voicing his opinion of the physical contact ban by attending class bound in blue duct tape. He and his friends give each other "knuckles" - you know, pounding it - and high-fiving. He thinks that banning those actions doesn't seem right.
- "My mom says it’s not good for a person to go all day without touching,” the eighth-grader said.
EDIT: We just discovered the cause for the ban - one student kicked another in the -- "no no area." More here.
What do you think about this ban? What is the strangest rule your school has implemented?
I asked d00d the same question, and he said that school officials in his Arizona town prohibited them from wearing flip flops to school... even in 100+ degree weather!
