My boyfriend and I celebrated earth hour in my basement with the fire place on.
We just listened to music on my portable speakers and cuddled. :]

I had no idea this was going on last saturday. I took part over the summer last year. But I never saw anything about it this year.

We had everything off because we were outside gardening anyways. We had street lights to help us see

Actually, I don't think lighting candles was that much of a good idea because I was reading an article that stated that candles are just as bad or worse than the old regular lightbulbs...LOL Just saying!

I did it at my youth group. We turned all the lights in the entire church off, haha. It was really funny sitting down in the basement and hearing shouts as people tripped over things and each other.

What happened to Earth Day?
Did they just shorten it up to Earth Hour or something?
Haha.
I forgot about it, but I try to conserve energy and Earth Hour is a great way to do it.

I participated in this. We just got home from church and we had to turn the lights off! I wore my sun glasses the whole time! It was so dark, I just sat in the dark talkin to my bros.

¬¬ my house was the only one that turned the lights off in my block, but couldn't turn the tv off, my country was playing a very important football match. Thanks Maradona, at least we won ¬¬

this past saturday wasn't Earth Day. Earth Day is sometime in mid-April. but, i did earth hour! (: this is my 2nd year, woot.

I celebrated by turning off everything at LEAST and then I read breaking dawn with a reading light =] Next year I'll go full way hopefully. =]

are there like any satellite pictures, those might be kinda cool to see, I know I've seen ones of light pollution, so i wonder what they looked like that day, if you could see any difference that would be cool

we didnt do much, but we stayed in my dads bedroom and talked, which was cool, because we dont really soend any time together!
