I agree with stunnadeanna. People would help more if they could just donate old clothes that are still in great condition, they just dont wear them anymore. I would so do that.

That is such a great idea, and the story is heartbreaking; knowing that kids don't even have the things to wear that we take for granted sometimes.

While i love the fact that we are trying to help these children, we are simply not trying to help them in the sence that we should.

For $50 i could go to walmart and get probably 50 plain t-shirts.
It would be more productive give those 50 children a plain white-t than give 5 children "fancy" shirts.

There are a lot of great points being made. 1. The idea of clothing these children is great. 2. $50.00 does get you more than 5 shirts. Honestly they can use more shirts, instead of designing them. What makes sense more shirts or one really cool one that won't last too long... 3. Donating the clothes we already have. Let us pay shipping and handling... I have 3 garbage bags of clothing at my apartment right now ready for the poor box. I would definitely have sent some of it to these children if optional.

Wanted to thank you all for your amazing support and donations for kids in Congo. I never knew there were so many caring peeps in the world. Just wanted to remind you that the tees were designed by kids in the Congo, and that it's not the cost of the t-shirt, it is the cost of getting the clothing into Congo that is so costly.
