New research shows that the star with the BIGGEST negative impact on the environment is... Mariah Carey!
Readers of eco-conscious website GreenDaily.com voted Mariah as the worst of the worst. Truth be told, this isn't that shocking. Mariah has become synonymous with an over-the-top luxurious lifestyle - from private jets to multi-million dollar homes that have rooms JUST for her Hello Kitty collection. But what put her at the top of the least green celebs list? Flying her personal trainer in from St. Barts. Yuck.
- "People saw that as an extravagance rather than a necessity and the consequences for the planet probably don't justify it," said Jonathon Morgan, editor-in-chief of GreenDaily.
So if Mariah was worst, who was best? Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Bono, Ed Begley Jr., Brad Pitt and Prince Charles are all getting high marks for their earth conscious choices.
