Well one: the Bible says you will be judged by how you judged others, two: how does me marrying affect your life or marriage? seriously how?! Sure you'll see us on the street and all, but at the end of the day your marriage is left unscathed. Not to mention, that even if its unmoral, this is a legal matter, even if we get to marry and you end up being right after this life is over, your marriage hasn't lost ANY of its sanctity b/c YOU are still married to the opposite sex. Right? So why not let us choose our lives and possibly screw our eternal souls? You'll still be fine as long as you maintain your morals and never agree with same-sex marriage, but that doesn't mean you get to destroy us. If that truly is Gods plan then that is for HIM to decide not YOU.

That's their opinion and I respect that not everyone will agree. It's the ones that twist & use religion for OR against it, and hide behind such a facade. That's how the Catholic church started the Crusades, by saying that it was in the name of God. Plus did you know that sodomy, aka gay-sex, has been used since the medieval times as a political tool too? Yup, it was used to oust rulers that other powerful people didn't like, whether it was true or not. That last thing was just an interesting fact. : P

Actually they first came from Egypt and were called "The 8 deadly temptations," but a Pope in the middle ages or Renaissance (forgot his name) combined two of the temptations and renamed it "sins." That's why it's not that big a deal to a lot fo people. It's not God's word.

And for those who say the Bible is "a ridiculous book of fairy tales," or those who believe everything it says, keep in mind it was written thousands of years ago. Thousands of years ago, people created outrageous stories to give reason for the natural world or to explain moral beliefs. Anyone who is truly enlightened understands that it isn't to be taken as 100% truth.

My brother is gay and he got saved. It does say that God made only man and woman to be loved and he did make it that way. But sin is a sin and sometimes nothing is going to change that. We were born into doing sin because of Adam and Eve and it's just the way it is. Me lying is an equal sin to me killing someone brutally (not that I would ever do that harsh thing). But sin is equal in all ways. Whether or not you have a tattoo (and you're destroying your temple of God) or happen to be lesbian or gay. That's fact.
