Philly's Recycling Trucks Get A Mega Makeover

In the spirit of making being green even cooler and trendier than it already is, the city of Philadelphia recently gave ten of their recycling trucks an extreme artistic makeover.

Just in time for the launch of the city's "single stream" recycling program, each truck received elaborate full-body paint jobs based off of 19th and 20th century textiles. The program was a collaboration between the city of Philly, its Mural Arts Program, and The Design Center.
