We knew our members were creative, but we had no idea just HOW creative! You are one artsy bunch, even if you aren't creating your own art, you're passionately admiring someone else's. Last week's Pink Ball Photos of the Week (PBPOTW) theme was "your favorite piece of art." We didn't get many Monet or Van Gogh pics, but we got PLENTY of your own work.

If you're a supporter of Keep-A-Breast on SocialVibe, you probably noticed that we reached our goal of $2,000 last week. Matter of fact, we SURPASSED the goal and raised a total of $2,438.98 for that time period! The money you raised was used to create a PSA that will help educate young girls about early detection and prevention of breast cancer.

These things, as much as we may take them for granted, cost money to produce. But they are a vital tool in helping making sure that as many people as possible are informed. THANK YOU for your participation in helping Keep-A-Breast reach their goal!

Here's a classic story about making lemonade out of lemons. Who can forget the notorious video leaked last year of Grammy-winning singer Amy Winehouse smoking crack? Not her finest moment, I think we can all agree. The good news is, all profits made from the sale of said video will be going to anti-drug and children's charities.
John Blagrove and Cara Burton, the couple who caught Winehouse's bad behavior on tape sold it the footy to UK tabloid The Sun for a pretty paycheck of $80,000. A Snaresbrook Crown Court Judge has recently ordered the duo to take that money and turn it over to anti-drug charities and non-profits to support children.
"If it goes to charity, that is the most just result in my opinion," Judge Tudor Owen stated.
These two are far from angels, though - Blagrove has previous drug charges resulting in two years imprisonment, and Burton received two years probation.
We think that's the absolute best use of that money. Now if only The Sun would donate a portion of the money they made off of magazine sales! Say no to drugs, kids!
Although Perks have still very much been happening, it's been a while since we've written about them on the blog. Let's get this party started again... What's your MOST favorite and your LEAST favorite fashion trend?
While the world circles around how, what, why, when, if, because, etc... Michael Jackson died, we would rather use this as an opportunity to celebrate his legacy. What better way than to share some of the best Thriller parodies we've seen. From Bollywood to a prison in the Phillippines, these are some of our faves!
When you're stuck behind bars, what better use of your time is there than to learn the Thriller choreography and then teach it to 1,500 of your fellow inmates? The original YouTube upload description is very clear: this is NOT the final routine, merely a rehearsal. We would have loved to have seen the opening performance at Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center.
Bollywood is totally the new Hollywood. This video might be a little old, but it never ceases to amaze. What's special about this particular version are the English sub-titles - clearly not the actual lyrics, merely what the editor thought the Indian lyrics sounded like. Hilarious.
Legos = awesome. Thriller = awesome. Legos + Thriller = beyond incredible. This must have taken a lot of work, but the hokie style of this poor quality stop-motion Lego Thriller remake just makes it all the more charming.
Gaming fans will appreciate this Final Fantasy version of Thriller. It's nothing super extraordinary, but it's still mesmerizing.
Sticking with the gaming theme, this particular remake was made with World of Warcraft. I was shocked to discover that there are MANY, many WoW Thriller parodies. This one was made in only six hours, for a school project. We're mildly interested in what kind of project that might be.
The chick flick version. Jennifer Garner is truly adorable dancing to Thriller in 13 Going on 30.
Now that we've properly paid tribute to Thriller, we encourage you to search YouTube for Thriller parodies. There are some hilarious videos people have uploaded of themselves attempting those dance moves in their bedroom, with their friends, in talent shows, etc.... truly too many to post here!
