Did many of you tune into MTV's Movie Awards last night?
Last year's ceremony was bittersweet, following the death of Dark Knight star Heath Ledger, but this year's awards were filled with humor, rumors, annoyances and of course, DRAMA! Twilight was by far the superior winner, but there were many other moments worth mentioning.
So what were the highlights? It's hard to pick our favorite, but these are just a few from last night's event at the Gibson Ampitheater in Universal City, CA:
- -The cast and crew of Twilight walked away with best film, best kiss, best fight, best breakthrough actor, and just about every other award possible.
-Eminem made his "comeback" official with a so-so performance, but had a bigger moment in the spotlight when Bruno actor Sacha Baron Cohen dropped in on the 36 yr old in a less-than-appropriate manner, causing the rapper to storm out of the theatre. Priceless. Many are speculating the entire thing was staged. (See video below.)
-Kristen Stewart drops her popcorn-trophy, later resulting in sparked debate about whether or not the Twilight star, previously caught with pot, was high on stage.
-Jim Carrey puts a smile on animal-rights activists faces everywhere when he blames swine flu on the improper treatment of pigs. "There wouldn't be a swine flu if we treated the pigs better," said the comedian.
-Rob Pattinson and the rest of the Twi-crew revealed the trailer for New Moon, giving fans a taste of what is to come in the Twilight sequel.
-Sneak peeks of other upcoming-blockbusters were aired such as: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra and Public Enemies.
-Lil Wayne hits on Gossip Girls' Leighton Meester as the two co-presented an award.
-Ben Stiller was recognized for his career's work with a MTV Generation Award - yielding words of love, admiration and even a little insult from Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Zac Efron and 24's Keifer Sutherland.

If you missed the Movie Awards, here are clips of Bruno & Eminem's encounter and the New Moon trailer:
So many questions: What do you think was the most shocking and/or entertaining part of the awards ceremony? Do you think the Bruno/Eminem debacle was planned? Were you pleased with Andy Samberg's hosting? How were Eminem's/Kings of Leon's performances? And.... what do you think of the New Moon trailer!?
Spill it!!
