Today is World Environment Day, a day to truly celebrate the place we live. If you have ever for a second taken our planet for granted, you should watch this trailer for the upcoming documentary HOME. It features beautiful cinematography of the Earth, along with a ton of useful information about how we as humans have destructed our environment and what we must do to fix it.

As the film states, "in 50 years, a single lifetime, the Earth has been more radically changed than by all previous generations of humanity."

The film, by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, is being released in 50 countries on multiple formats today, June 5. To watch the movie, visit www.home-2009.com. Watch the trailer below:

Clearly, we need to get our act together. Visit their website to find out about all the other cool events they have going on around the world today to celebrate the film release. Wish I could be in Paris for the 10pm screening beneath the Eiffel Tower!
