i don't think you can compare the two. i personally, love both twilight AND harry potter, and i would never be able to choose which series i simply like more. although, if i was stranded with only one series to choose, i would probably choose harry potter because it doesn't only focus on romance and action, but has many life lessons you can learn from it. and i love dumbledores speeches.

Harry Potter is much more complex and much better written. How can anyone sit here and say that a couple of werewolves and vampires compares to an entire wizarding world that JK Rowling created herself? And how can four dinky books compare to seven amazing ones? I've read both, and HP is far superior, on all accounts.

Harry Potter is the absolute best.
Everyone with a half a brain knows that.
Even if you hate both, you STILL know Harry is better.

Harry Potter is very well-written.
Great plot, wonderful story-telling techniques, and good character creation.
The Twilight books have many errors in them, include too many insignificant details, and get boring at times.
Harry Potter movies portray the books WAY better and have way better actors.
The Twilight movies suck at recreating the books and many of the actors are either terrible, aren't right for the part, or both.
The only thing good about Twilight is the plot - the story.
That's the ONLY reason it's gotten so big.
The actors, the movies, the writing all sucks.
Only the story is any good.
Many, many romance books are better than Twilight, but Twilight is made for 'tweens - that's why it's huge.
If it were an adult book, it'd just be another romance novel.
