Here at SocialVibe, we love it when celebrities use their popularity for good causes... especially when they happen to be bassists in bands, such as Fall Out Boy! Bassist Pete Wentz just reached one million Twitter followers, and to celebrate, he's decided to show the world how amazing his fans are by partnering up with Invisible Children to raise one million dollars, helping to end the war in Uganda. That's a dollar per user!

Tweeters are already showing their support and congratulations by donating their dollar and leaving inspiring comments all over his original blog announcement.
One commenter on Pete's post sends encouraging words his way:
- "This is fantastic! I think that's why people follow you - because you're one of the good guys."
We agree with the sentiment; just like everyone involved with SocialVibe, he believes that the goodwill of even one person counts. No profit, no tricks, no side agenda... just a good and charitable heart.
To give special thanks, Pete has personally signed ten Invisible Children bracelets, originally handmade in Uganda, and will randomly select ten lucky donors to receive them. Want to give your buck? Visit the official site and see who else is donating right now!
Remember, even the small contributions we make towards the causes make a huge difference when we stand up together.
Support Invisible Children on SocialVibe to raise even more funds towards rescuing child soldiers and ending the war in Uganda.
