Looking forward to the upcoming documentary No Impact Man? So are we. Colin Beavan has become a legend of sorts to many, after his public declaration to live his life with as little environmental impact as possible... hence "no impact man."

While living with minimal electricity and taking the stairs instead of the elevator seems quite daunting at first, Colin has actually found that some of his family's sacrifices - no television, for example - has actually brought them closer together. Check out this 60-second preview clip from the documentary from Oscilloscope Laboratories, which comes to select theaters on September 11.
A little blurb from Colin about how it works:
- "No Impact Man is my experiment with researching, developing and adopting a way of life for me and my little family—one wife, one toddler, one dog—to live in the heart of New York City while causing no net environmental impact. To do this, we will decrease the things we do that hurt the earth—make trash, cause carbon dioxide emissions, for example—and increase the things we do that help the earth—clean up the banks of the Hudson River, give money to charity, rescue sea birds, say."

Is No Impact Man on your must-see list?
