I almost got hit by some stupid girl who was texting. Doesn't it make sense that in order to avoid obstacles we have to see them? Well you can't see them if you're looking at your phone! If you MUST text while driving, please wait until you're at a red light, because I don't want to die for your stupidity.

i rarely text while driving..i text maybe lyk twice while driving other than that i wait till i get to a redlight or a stop sign..well if noones behind me at hte stop sign..plus i barely drive neway so i think im good.

More people need to watch this vid! And it's not just teens, either, because I was in the car with the mother of a girl my age, and she was texting while driving. It's a DISGUSTING habit, and is no different than drinking and driving (at least, in my books).

Yeah, it's already illegal to do so, but common sense would tell a person that its stupid to text while driving, with or without the help of the law. Anyone who does it anyway is a glowing moron and deserves any punishment or injury they receive from their stupidity. And any lives lost in said accident(s) are on the texter's thick head.

I completely understand this. Personally, I think it's just plain ignorance to text and drive. If it's so important, then it can either wait until you've reached or destination, or pull over, better yet, just call them! Of course, that's illegal too. We've all just become lazy, that's our problem.

this terrified me. a few days ago, I was coming home from an concert and my friends dad was texting while driving. I was completely aware of that and it scared me. This could have been me! Please never text and drive.

i think they should make it illegal; where i live its only illegal for the first 6 months that you have your license. after that theres no laws stopping people.

What is up with these people saying, "If you can text and drive, do it"? Seriously, it should be made illegal on ALL roads, no matter who is doing it. In the city I live in, it's illegal, and they made keys for teens, so when you put your keys in the ignition, your signal gets lost, so there's no point in texting or calling while driving.

They made it illegal to drive while texting and talking on the phone here. I think it's a good law. When I drive I put my phone in the passenger seat even if somebody is sitting there and if it rings I pull over cause I don't want to get hurt. (:

Wow, That's...wow. When I get my licence, I refuse to text while driving..I'll put my phone on silent, and keep my attention on the road. I don't want to end up like that
