The newest Cause to join us on SocialVibe is Built on Respect. The organization, run by alt culture personality Heidi Minx, works directly with different communities that are working towards sustainability, and educates people to do for themselves.

Her goal is to use a DIY approach to teaching, and teach DIY skills to enable small communities, like Tibetan refugee groups in India, to better be seen and heard (and compete) in a global marketplace. Concentrating on positive youth action, she works to fight cultural genocide, ageism, discrimination and raise social and political awareness.

“I'm personally researching small groups that need help, and then living within them to help teach English, computers, business and marketing skills," says Heidi.
