Did everyone catch MTV's 2009 Video Music Awards last night? The awards show was jam packed full of great performances, glam outfits, funny presenters and of course - a bit of drama. Here are some highlights for those who missed the show!

- - Quite possible the most talked-about and shocking moment was when Kanye West stormed the stage following Taylor Swift's winning the award for Best Female Video. Apparently he just HAD to interrupt poor Taylor's speech and tell the world that Beyonce's video was the "best of the decade" We agree, Single Ladies, is awesome, but hello, that is just plain rude! Poor Taylor stood there, shocked, as the crowd boo-ed Kanye and cheered for T. Swift. Kanye later apologized on his blog. She totally deserves that award, don't you agree?
- - Lady GaGa's performance of "Paparazzi," complete with a bleeding heart, was pretty buzzworthy. It wouldn't be GaGa if she weren't wearing a truly unique outfit, but the rising pop star stunned the audience even more when her chest began "bleeding" down her front halfway through her performance. Way to make a statement!
- Pink, Muse, Beyonce, 3OH!3, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry gave equally fabulous performances, but perhaps the best was Janet Jackson's tribute to her late brother Michael, with the assistance of many of his backup dancers, who recreated Thriller, Bad, Smooth Criminal, and Scream. The Queen of Pop Madonna also opened the entire show with some heartfelt words to MJ, truly a touching speech.
- Beyonce eventually did get her moment in the sun when she won for Video of the Year, and inviting Taylor on stage to accept the award alongside her was MORE than adorable. Now that's class!
