After being sentenced to 180 days of community service, Chris Brown began his hard labor today in the city of Richmond, VA. The singer, convicted of domestic abuse against ex-girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year, was shot hacking away at some weeds while wearing an orange vest this morning.
A spokesperson for the Richmond police says that although they will have heightened security to protect Chris during his public service, Chris will absorb those costs. As it should be, no taxpayers should have to pay for his bad behavior.
He may be smiling and waving to the cameras, but we're sure the novelty of community service will soon wear off. This is quite a contrast to his superstar lifestyle, but punishment is not supposed to be easy, it is supposed to teach you a lesson! Are you pleased to see Chris completing his duty? Do you think his sentence should have been more severe?
