Sorry, Michelle, Barack and Oprah! Despite their heavy campaigning this week in Copenhagen, the International Olympics Committee has made a decision and named Rio de Janeiro as home to the 2016 Olympics.

Brazil is much more exotic anyway. The country's Sports Minister Orlando Silva welcomed the official news, saying that Rio could guarantee the best venues, the best transportation, and the best athletes' security. "Our country has changed," he insisted.
