Humanitarianism is definitely IN this year, and the celebs know it. 2009 has brought a ton of Hollywood support for a variety of causes, the kind of support that exceeds the simple (yet appreciated) act of writing a check, but actually spending time campaigning for their causes and visiting people in need.

DoSomething.org is compiling a list of 2009's Top 20 Celebs Gone Good, and are asking you to vote for your favorites from their list of 100 celebs giving back. Is it Leonardo DiCaprio and his Earth loving ways? Is it Joel Madden and Nicole Richie and their childrens' foundation? Perhaps you think no one deserves this award more than Hayden Panettiere, who is dedicated in her fight to save the whales.

Whoever you think is the most worthy philanthropic celeb, please go cast your vote at DoSomething.org/celebsgonegood/vote.

The top 20 will appear in the first ever nationally televised Celebs Gone Good show, premiering Thursday, November 19th at 8pm on VH1!
