What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Chances are they include family, a whole lot of food, maybe a little football, and a nice nap. All great things to be thankful for. Unfortunately, millions of people worldwide won't have even the most simple of luxuries this holiday, much less any other day, so we're asking you to spare what you can and give back to someone in need.

For the rest of this week (through the 15th of November), BJ's is asking the community to contribute food donations at any of their Clubs. Each location will have one of their "25-Ton Food Donation Challenge" bins, where you can place non-perishable food items for someone in need.
Food banks are most in need of items like rice, pasta, beans, canned fruit, canned vegetables, soups, stews, chili, 100% juice, protein (canned), peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, tomato products, cereal and macaroni and cheese.
BJ's Charitable Foundation will donate the financial equivalent of one MILLION meals to Feeding America's Food Bank network partners located in the same communities BJ's serves.
Can you spare a few non-perishable food items? Just a few dollars worth of food can make all the difference. Help fight hunger this weekend, swing by a BJ's and drop off some food!
