For thousands of supporters on SocialVibe and millions of the people worldwide who have benefited from the work of TWLOHA, today is a day for celebration. November 13 is To Write Love On Her Arms Day, 24 hours devoted to appreciating and honoring the non-profit committed to providing hope and help for those suffering from depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide.
The World Health Organization estimates that over 121 million people suffer from depression worldwide, with over two thirds of those people never seeking treatment. TWLOHA supporters on SocialVibe have raised over $60,000 for online crisis and suicide prevention services. Sixty thousand dollars! Every penny raised will fund projects designed to encourage, inform, inspire and invest directly into recovery and treatment.
