Billboard magazine did a little number crunching recently in honor of the end of the 2000s to see which album was the best performing of the last decade. Of all the great music that entered the audiosphere in the past ten years, the top selling album came from a somewhat unexpected group: 'N Sync.

That's right - the now-retired boy band's album No Strings Attached was the decade's best selling album, with more than 10 million copies sold.
Billboard also named their most popular song of the decade, Mariah Carey's 'We Belong Together.' Eminem was the top artist of the decade and Nickelback was named top group (wow). As for 2009, Taylor Swift's Fearless was the top-selling album and the Black Eyed Peas' 'Boom Boom Pow' was the top song.
As shocking as this may be to many of us, the numbers don't lie. And after all, these artists were extremely popular in their hey-day (don't pretend you didn't like them!) What does No Strings Attached remind you of? For me, it brings back memories of cruising around my senior year of high school.
Which album did you wear thin over the past ten years?
