We're still digesting the wins from the Grammys over the weekend, but it's time to set our sights on the next big awards ceremony on the agenda: the Oscars! The show will air on March 7 at 8/5pm on ABC. Nominees were announced this morning, and among the contenders are the expected Avatar, District 9, Inglorious Basterds, Up and The Blind Side.

Meryl Streep received a Best Actress nod for her role in Julie & Julia, setting a new record for nominations. She'll go head to head with Sandra Bullock, whose work in The Blind Side earned her the first Oscar nomination of her career.
