As much as we whine about how much of a financial and emotional drain Valentine's Day is, we have to admit that most of us have it pretty good. With 1 in 5 children in the US living in poverty, there are far bigger issues than whether or not we'll be single and roseless this February 14.

Actress and Save the Children Ambassador Julianne Moore recently appeared on the Today Show to talk about a program that allows people to buy Valentine's Day cards designed by children to benefit children in impoverished neighborhoods. Each box is $25 and all proceeds benefit Save the Children's programs to support children living in poverty here in the US.
